Nepal Matri Griha (Nepal Mother Home) is a Non-governmental Organization, dedicated to provide shelter, food, health and education to under-privileged children, as:
Nepal Matri Griha was founded out of an emergency situation. A group of 20 needy children were badly juggled in the hands of three different guardian organizations and lived in pitiable conditions. Ms. Shobha Rai, a young Nepali Social Worker, was close to the children during that period. After having seen what the children had gone through, she decided to open Matri Griha. The motivation was to help the children in providing them a safe and reliable place to stay and to create an atmosphere in which the children feel at home. Matri Griha started in February 2000 with seven children in a basic house at Gangabu-5, Kathmandu.
OUR AIMS VISION AND BELIEF
Nepal Matri Griha firmly believes that underprivileged children are the weakest people in our society and need our help. They are children at risk, often belonging to poor communities, deprived of basic health, shelter and education. We believe that helping these children is a moral and humanitarian duty. We are convinced that through our approach these children will be able to find their own way in life. We consider it is our responsibility to reach this goal.
OUR OBJECTIVES
You will find several photos of the children in Nepal. I am also including information concerning direct deposit to the account in Nepal. A second method which I use often is via Western Union. I find this simple even though there is a small fee, it is direct and they are always "delighted" to pick up the funds to help out and it is very near to them. so please note the following information and use-post as guided. Feel free to share with anyone. I am guided to send you a little news letter posting concerning my trip there, which someone may wish to read along the way if you post it on the site. Again, I trust in your guidance within so, here below are the (3) three ways to contact and (2) ways to send a donation or gift as guided from within.
